مصحف الثريا

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ ۝١

HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart,

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ ۝٢

and lifted from thee the burden

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ ۝۳

that had weighed so heavily on thy back?

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ ۝٤

And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity?

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ۝٥

And, behold, with every hardship comes ease:

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا ۝٦

verily, with every hardship comes ease!

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ ۝۷

Hence, when thou art freed [from distress], remain steadfast,

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب ۝۸

and unto thy Sustainer turn with love.
